This fella is a smug little boring cunt.

The resemblance to Griffin is un-fucking-canny but Griffin at least hates the Fr........oh......not the time!

I used to like Sir Trev doing it... would always mention his comprehensive and how many O'levels he left with....

Re: Michael Owen
I challenge anyone to find a commentary from Brooking where he doesn't use the word "bobble" at least once.

You won't find one. He ALWAYS defended sky shots by saying "Looks like the ball got a little bobble there before he struck it."

Point is, though Sir Trevors may not have the most musical voice, it is not fair to compare him to Michael "Everybody Cut their Own Throat" Owen.

It may be sacrilege to say it, but some of Trev's commentry was pretty bad. He especially struggled pronouncing foreign names.

Re: Michael Owen
People with that type of droning voice should not be doing back up commentary during a sporting event. Full stop

And yes I am including SIR Trev in that. Annoyed the fuck out of non WHU fans during his BBC heyday. I`ve never heard this happen during a replay of the Big match, why are cunts Like Neville & Owen given a licence to bore nowadays ?

There was a Hoddle penalty when they were at Luton Town on the box (MoTD?) years back, that smashed the post and rebounded straight back out...

"That was the perfect penalty"

a fucking terrible commentator

BT is shit as well, cunts missed the build up to Enners goal, think the cameraman was busy showing pics of something no one was interested in

Re: Michael Owen
It's a disgrace really that commentators can be so biased. The bloke is an absolute 100% grade A cunt but that aside if he is doing a job he should show some professionalism surely?

Re: Michael Owen
I didn't watch the first match as I was ill so stayed in a listened to 5 Live (they had Kilbane as summariser and he was OK, to be fair) but watched last night and Owen did not even attempt to be impartial. BT Sport also seemed to overload their punditry team with ex-players who have Everton connections with the token ex-Hammer being James, who is probably better remembered for playing at Liverpool and Portsmouth.

Owen can put last nights result into his little pipe and puff on it until he chokes. I liked him as a player but he came across as right biased wanker last night.

Owen is a plank that's all anybody needs to know.

Made shitloads playing football now ploughing it into his stables, should stop fouling up our screens with his inane observations!

Re: Michael Owen
I recorded the game and watched parts when I got home - Owen's bias was most clearly shown when McGeady made the second foul leading to him being sent off. Owen says "oh no"!
